Running vacations are by far the best way to see a new city. Every time I run a race you can find me checking out the local scenes before and after a race. Most of the time I find myself just stumbling around without any sort of direction. Luckily Brooks and BibRave have released Nashville Notes, providing runners and spectators, with the hip and happening spots Nashville has to offer for the upcoming Rock ‘N Roll Racing Half Marathon.

If you are headed to Nashville for the races or will be spectating make sure to check out Nashville Notes Pinterest Board for all of the areas to place on the agenda of must see’s and do’s. For those attending the Rock ‘N Roll Nashville race weekend from April 25th through the 29th, make sure when you visit one of the locations on the guide, to post a pic of your visit on Twitter or Instagram using the #BrooksNashNotes and #BrooksBR and you’ll be entered to win a pair of Brooks Glycerin 17’s. Winner selected randomly on and notified on May 3rd.

I just love Nashville and have visited on multiple occasions. The cool thing is we find new spots each time we visit, but always go back to those staple locations we found over the years. If you love country music, and music in general Nashville is the place to be! Add in the abundant food choices and it is a city made in heaven. Wait did I forget running? Well Nashville has that as well and plenty of routes to enjoy some iconic locations!!!

Let’s start out with my favorite…FOOD!!!

Hattie B’s – I love me some Fried Chicken, and Hattie B’s does it HOT. I could eat me some Hot Nashville Chicken for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The atmosphere is always hopping and a great place to unwind with friends and family.

When in a new city I always RUN!!!

For me I love running in the city and the Downtown Pedestrian Bridge and Riverfront Park provide just that. It provides some great views and is a must among Nashville Runners.

Have fun and enjoy what the city of Nashville has to offer!
