Scooby-Doo Virtual Run Series – Zoinkes We Got A Dog

Disclaimer: I received free entry to the Scooby-Doo Virtual Run Series as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!

I am one that raves about virtual runs for several reasons.  They give you the option to schedule and train for races without having to go through the commotion of a typical race day morning.  In addition most virtual races will donate a portion of the entry fees to various charities which I love.

When I heard that there was a Scooby-Doo Virtual Run Series I just had to be a part of it.  I was a huge fan of Scooby-Doo while growing up so this made being a part of it a MUST!!!

The Scooby-Doo Virtual Run Series is actually two separate races; the Doo Good Virtual 5k which takes place in the month of September and the Scoobtober Virtual 5k or 10k which takes place in the month of October.  What is unique about these Virtual Races are they promote running with your four legged friend.  A portion of your registration from the Scooby-Doo Race Series benefits the Best Friends Animal Society.

So I did mention this is a race for you and your four legged friend, right?  Well Dad caved and we now have a puppy.  Although Lila is to small to participate in the Doo Good 5k, my daughter has graciously offered to run in her place.  However Lila will be prepped and ready to break up our scheduled Scoobtober Virtual 10k in October.

Make sure you register you and your pets by September 20th to take part in the Series Challenge! And include the option for some pet RACE SWAG!!

Zoinkes use “BIBRAVE” and save 10% on your race entries.
