It seems to me that over the last few years there has been an increased number of new sunglasses brands popping up. Options are great to have and exceptionally better if they meet the following requirements; stylish, durable and cost friendly. That’s where I introduce you to Shady Rays, a sunglasses supplier who has been around for a handful of years. I had the ability,as a BibRavePro, to review a pair from the Signature Series and picked the Black Ice Polarized color option. I eagerly awaited for them to arrive and just knew they would be put to good use with the amount of sun we’ve had here in Ohio.
The day came and I was really surprised by the quality of these sunglasses. At a price tag of just $45, I expected them to be just ok, but found them to supersede my expectations. The shape of the Signature Series was aesthetically appealing and different from what I am used too. They were light and fitted great. The only concern that I had was that the lenses felt loose in the frames and didn’t know how they would hold up. After a month of use I am delighted to say I’ve had absolutely no issues.
Over the last several weeks I have pushed the “24/7 action” statement to the limits, with many runs in different weather conditions, swimming with the kids at the pool, and even rocked these out in a professional setting.
For me the Shady Rays have become my go to eye wear when running. The polarization allows me to see my path, while providing UV protection, for my safety.
