Thanksgiving Traditions

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there taking the time to read this post today.  We all have many things to be thankful for and celebrate/reflect on those in different ways.

Last year when I took up running, I started a new tradition where I do my own #TurkeyTrot after getting the turkey started.  Actually this trot ends up being a 10 mile run.  During that run I have time to reflect on all the things in my life that I’m thankful for. Being healthy, being employed, have a home, running, and most of all my family!  They have supported me on this new habit and addiction i have with running.

Today’s run was a slow paced jog through the rain and mist.  I was actually surprised I did not see anyone else, although once again I forgot our city holds an annual Turkey Trot. Oops!

Well for all those running in Turkey Trots, be safe, enjoy and be thankful!

I will be continuing my prep of our annual family feast!

So I ask all of you, do you have any Thanksgiving Traditions?
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
